Your return should explain the past—and help shape what happens next.
Square Accounting connects accurate tax preparation with three CPA-led advisory reviews across the year. You receive the required returns, a current-year tax projection, strategy guidance, and written priorities for the decisions ahead—not another filing that leaves you wondering what to do next.
Complimentary 30-minute fit call · Response within one business day · Remote and secure
Designed primarily for real estate investors, Florida business owners, and high-income professionals with household income above $350,000.
Request a Tax Prep + Advisory Review
Tell us what needs to be prepared and what has changed. We will review your request and follow up within one business day about fit, scope, timing, and fees.
Filing closes a deadline. It should also open a clearer plan.
A technically completed return can still leave important questions unanswered. When businesses, properties, entities, investments, or multiple states are involved, you need more than a final number. You need to understand what created it and what deserves attention next.
The forms get finished. The questions remain.
You receive the return and the amount due or refunded, but may still be unsure why the result changed, whether estimated payments are aligned, or which decisions require attention before another year passes.
Preparation and advisory work from the same financial picture.
We connect the return to how you earn, what you own, how your entities interact, where you operate, and what you expect to change next.
Three review points keep the plan from disappearing after filing.
The return review explains the completed filing. The mid-year review tests the current-year direction. The year-end or early-year review turns what changed into priorities for the next decision window.
One relationship. Three review points. Preparation and planning stay connected.
The Tax Prep + Advisory Review is an annual relationship for clients who want compliance work and forward-looking guidance coordinated by the same CPA-led team.
Tax-return preparation
We prepare the agreed federal and state returns, including applicable Forms 1040, 1120-S, 1065, 1120, and Schedule C filings. The engagement can include e-filing, extensions when appropriate, estimated-payment vouchers, prior-year comparison, electronic copies, secure document exchange, e-signatures, and a two-stage internal review.
Filing-season tax review
We explain the completed return, the primary items shaping the result, relevant changes from the prior year, and any questions that should be resolved before filing or carried into the advisory plan.
Mid-year advisory review
We update the current-year income picture, review withholding or estimated payments, prepare a current-year tax projection, and evaluate the issues or strategies that have become more relevant since filing.
Year-end or early-year advisory review
We revisit the projection, consider the decisions still available, design relevant tax strategies, and separate time-sensitive priorities from items that should be monitored or handled under a separate implementation scope.
Written priorities
You receive a written summary capturing the central issues, recommended priorities, and agreed next steps from the advisory work.
"Preparation explains what was filed. Advisory keeps that information connected to the year you are now living."
Know what is affecting the return—and what deserves attention next.
The subjects reviewed depend on your facts. When relevant, the engagement can help clarify:
Every topic will not apply to every client. The purpose is to focus the work on the decisions that are relevant, supportable, and worth acting on.
- Why did the tax result change from the previous year?
- Are withholding and estimated payments aligned with current income?
- How are business and personal tax decisions affecting each other?
- Does the existing entity structure still fit how the business operates?
- What is the tax effect of current real-estate activity?
- Are multiple states creating additional filing or planning concerns?
- Which documentation or compliance issues need to be strengthened?
- Which tax strategy appears most appropriate for the current facts?
- Which actions are time-sensitive, and which should simply be monitored?
- What requires deeper analysis, specialty work, or separate implementation?
The relationship continues after the return is filed.
Understand the completed return
See what drove the result, what changed, what needs clarification, and which items should carry forward into the current-year plan.
Reproject at mid-year
Update the income picture, prepare the current-year projection, revisit estimated payments or withholding, and evaluate the most relevant planning direction.
Prepare for the next decision window
At year-end or early in the new year, revisit the projection, design relevant strategies, document priorities, and decide which implementation work should be separately scoped.
Timing note: Review length depends on complexity. Advisory meetings are led by Stevan Franeta, CPA.
A defined process, with the scope clear before work begins.
Start with a complimentary 30-minute fit call
Stevan Franeta, CPA, will learn what needs to be filed, what changed, and what you expect from the relationship. We will use the conversation to confirm fit, returns required, general scope, timing, and pricing.
Confirm the engagement
Before work begins, you receive the agreed scope and fee. Payment is divided into two stages: 50% when the engagement starts and 50% before the return is filed.
Provide the complete prior-year picture
Provide all available prior-year federal and state tax returns, current-year documents, and the requested supporting information through the secure process. If bookkeeping cleanup is required, it will be identified and priced separately.
Prepare, review, and file
We prepare the agreed returns, complete the internal review process, answer document questions, walk through the result, and file after the required information, approvals, and final payment are complete.
Continue through the advisory year
The mid-year and year-end or early-year reviews keep the current projection, strategy, and next priorities connected to what is changing in your business, portfolio, income, and tax position.
Built for people whose tax picture no longer feels simple.
Real estate investors
For investors managing rental activity, acquisitions, dispositions, multiple properties or entities, passive activity questions, and the interaction between portfolio decisions and personal taxes.
Florida business owners
For owners coordinating business income, payroll, distributions, entity activity, estimated payments, investment decisions, and the personal consequences of company growth.
High-income professionals
For professionals whose compensation, investments, side businesses, equity events, or multistate activity create more moving parts than filing alone can explain.
People replacing a filing-only relationship
For taxpayers who want their CPA to prepare the return, explain the result, maintain a current-year projection, and revisit the plan before the next filing deadline.
Existing Square Accounting clients ready for a more connected relationship
For current clients who want preparation, scheduled advisory reviews, and written priorities brought together under one annual scope.
Fit note: The service is designed primarily for households earning more than $350,000, but anyone may submit a request. Fit depends on complexity, needs, jurisdictions, capacity, and whether the combined relationship can provide meaningful value.

Stevan Franeta, CPA
Senior Tax Advisor
Stevan brings more than 15 years of tax, accounting, and financial leadership experience to business owners, real estate investors, and high-income professionals. His role is to connect accurate compliance work with practical, multi-year thinking—so clients understand both the return being filed and the decisions that may shape future tax outcomes.
CPA-led perspective
The engagement is grounded in tax compliance, supported by advisory analysis, and communicated in language you can use.
A connected view
We look at the relationship between personal taxes, business activity, real estate, entities, cash requirements, and state exposure instead of treating each form as a separate problem.
Clear scope and priorities
You should know what is included, what information is required, what is separately billed, and what happens next.
Strategy belongs in the relationship. Specialized execution gets its own scope.
The three annual reviews can include current-year projections, identifying and designing relevant tax strategies, and documenting recommended priorities. That does not mean every study, filing, restructuring step, or implementation project is included in the annual fee.
Before separately billed work begins, Square Accounting will explain the recommended scope and fee so you can decide how to proceed.
When needed, the following may be quoted separately:
- •additional scenario or transaction modeling
- •entity restructuring, elections, or formation work
- •cost-segregation studies or related specialty filings
- •accounting-method changes, including Form 3115 work
- •retirement-plan design or implementation
- •amended returns
- •bookkeeping cleanup
- •complex transaction, acquisition, sale, or exit modeling
- •audit representation
- •implementation work outside the signed annual scope
Limited new-client capacity. More continuity after you become one.
Square Accounting accepts a limited number of new Tax Prep + Advisory Review relationships so preparation, projections, and scheduled advisory work can receive appropriate attention throughout the year.
We will confirm fit, returns required, scope, timing, and fees before the engagement begins. Availability is not guaranteed by submitting the form.
Good tax work starts with clear expectations.
No. This is a combined annual relationship that includes preparation of the agreed returns, a filing-season review, a mid-year advisory review, a year-end or early-year advisory review, a current-year projection, strategy guidance when relevant, and a written summary of priorities.
This page is specifically for the combined Tax Prep + Advisory Review relationship. Square Accounting will confirm during the fit call whether the annual engagement matches your needs.
Depending on the agreed scope, Square Accounting can prepare Form 1040, Schedule C, Form 1120-S, Form 1065, Form 1120, and applicable state filings. The exact returns and jurisdictions are confirmed before the engagement begins.
The first review is connected to the completed tax return. The second occurs around mid-year. The third takes place near year-end or early in the new year. Exact timing and meeting length depend on the engagement and complexity involved.
Yes. The advisory relationship includes a current-year projection based on the information available at the time. Because income and activity can change, projections are estimates rather than guaranteed outcomes.
No. The annual reviews can identify and design relevant strategies, but specialty analysis, additional modeling, elections, entity changes, amended filings, bookkeeping cleanup, studies, and implementation outside the signed scope are billed separately. We explain the additional scope and fee before that work begins.
Square Accounting can identify the cleanup required and may provide or coordinate that work for an additional fee. Material cleanup may need to be completed before tax preparation can proceed.
Initial support for notices related to a return prepared by Square Accounting is included. Audit representation, extensive correspondence, or work beyond the original engagement may require a separate scope and fee.
The engagement requires 50% when work begins and the remaining 50% before the return is filed. The total fee is confirmed after the returns, jurisdictions, complexity, and required advisory scope are reviewed.
Yes. An extension may be necessary when the engagement begins late, information is incomplete, cleanup is required, or the work cannot be completed responsibly before the filing deadline. Timing is confirmed during the scope process.
Square Accounting is Florida-focused and works remotely. We also have experience with multistate tax matters. Fit depends on the jurisdictions, return types, and complexity involved.
Begin with a clear description of what needs to be filed and what changed during the year. Have all available prior-year federal and state tax returns ready for the next step. Do not send sensitive tax documents through the landing-page form.
We review the information you provide and follow up within one business day to discuss fit, required returns, scope, timing, and fees. Submitting the form does not create a client relationship or guarantee availability.
No. Tax results depend on your facts, timing, documentation, implementation, and applicable law. The purpose of the engagement is to prepare accurate returns, improve visibility, identify relevant strategies, and support better-informed decisions.
Prepare the return. Understand the result. Keep the plan moving.
Bring tax preparation, current-year projections, and three CPA-led advisory reviews into one annual relationship designed around the decisions you are actually making.
